How do I submit a PTO request?

Paid Time Off (PTO) can be requested by submitting a PTO Request online through the Human Resources Office via PayChex Flex.  Please try to submit PTO requests two weeks prior to the date requested.

To log a PTO request, simply follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://myapps.paychex.com/
  2. Enter your username and password.
    Note, if you do not have a PayChex Flex login, you may contact HR by e-mailing hr@terrasmart.com for assistance
  3. When you are logged in, click on the “Human Resources” tab on the left hand side.
  4. When the next screen appears, click on “Compensation” to expand the menu.
  5. Click on “Attendance/Time-Off
  6. Click on the “+Add” (click on the image below to expand)
  7. Input the PTO Date, PTO Type, and Number of Hours Requested.  It is important to note that the system will decrement in hours, so if you plan to take a full day, request 8 hours off.
  8. You may also include a note to your supervisor (optional).
  9. Click Submit.
  10. Once approved by your supervisor, you will receive an email notification.
