Paid Time Off (PTO) can be requested by submitting a PTO Request online through the Human Resources Office via PayChex Flex. Please try to submit PTO requests two weeks prior to the date requested.

To log a PTO request, simply follow these steps:
- Open a web browser and navigate to https://myapps.paychex.com/
- Enter your username and password.
Note, if you do not have a PayChex Flex login, you may contact HR by e-mailing hr@terrasmart.com for assistance - When you are logged in, click on the “Human Resources” tab on the left hand side.

- When the next screen appears, click on “Compensation” to expand the menu.
- Click on “Attendance/Time-Off“
- Click on the “+Add” (click on the image below to expand)

- Input the PTO Date, PTO Type, and Number of Hours Requested. It is important to note that the system will decrement in hours, so if you plan to take a full day, request 8 hours off.
- You may also include a note to your supervisor (optional).
- Click Submit.
- Once approved by your supervisor, you will receive an email notification.
